Kinugawa Onsen, located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, is a popular hot spring resort town (get off at Kinugawa Onsen Eki bus stop) that attracts more than 2 million guests a year. Nearby are Tobu World Square (get off at Tobu World Square En-nai bus stop), a museum that reproduces world buildings and world heritage sites in miniature, and Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura (get off at Nikko Edomura bus stop), a historical theme park that recreates the Edo period, which can be easily reached by bus. The Imaichi area, down south from the Kinugawa area, flourished as a post town on the Nikko Highway. There is also Suginamiki Park (get off at Kasugacho bus stop) with 14 waterwheels of various sizes, and Shimo-Imaichi Station (get off at Shimoimaichi Eki bus stop) where you can ride on a steam locomotive. Tochigi is also known for its strawberries. There are many facilities nearby where you can enjoy strawberry picking. Some of them are close by by bus, so why not stop by on your way? The Imaichi and Kinugawa areas are full of Onsen, sightseeing, nature, and other experiences that are a little out of the ordinary, so let's take the bus and enjoy them to the fullest!
