The Ueno / Asakusa area is "Ueno" where cultural and artistic facilities are concentrated, "Asakusa" which is crowded as a place for popular entertainment centering on Sensoji Temple and "TOKYO SKYTREE®" which is a landmark overlooking the whole of Tokyo. You can enjoy it just strolling at the retro atmosphere of the shopping street. There are plenty of gourmet foods and the sweets shop is perfect for resting your feet.

Crossing the Sumida River from the Kaminarimon gate is the "TOKYO SKYTREE®" (get off at Tokyo Skytree Town®) one of Tokyo's landmarks and Japan's tallest radio tower at 634 meters, where you can enjoy a walk in the sky at the TOKYO SKYTREE Tembo Galleria. At your feet, TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN® has more than 300 store and facilities such as popular gourmet, fashion, shops dealing with traditional Japanese crafts and "SUMIDA AQUARIUM" you can enjoy it no matter how many times you visit.

"Kappabashi Dougugai" (get off at Kappabashi Dogugai Iriguchi), which is just halfway between Asakusa and Ueno and a specialty wholesale district dealing with food related products. The food samples which realism are also popular with overseas tourists. It is attractive that you can find high quality cooking utensils and rare items used by professionals.
