Adachi area prospered as a post town of Edo and is still loved by the general public as a downtown of Tokyo. "Nishiarai Daishi" is one of the three great temples in Kanto that prospers as a sacred place for warding off evil and "Toneri Park" that is crowded with barbecue and cherry blossom viewing spots. There is a promenade along the irrigation canal and there are many relaxing spots close to daily life such as "Minumadai Shinsui Park" which is crowded with many families in summer and there are plenty local gourmet.

The official name of Nishiarai Daishi (get off at Nishi Arai Daishi) is "Gochisan Henjoin Soji-ji" and it is said that Kobodaishi (Kukai) built a temple when he visited Nishiarai. During the Edo period (1603-1867), it was a popular prayer place for women to prevent evil and now it is one of the "Three Great of Kanto warding off evil temple" and is a power spot visited by plenty of worshipers from the capital area.

Toneri Park (get off at Kojiya Honcho 1 Chome or Naka Iriya) is one of the largest metropolitan parks in Tokyo. The vast site of more than 640,000㎡ includes sports facilities such as track and field and tennis courts, as well as a plaza full of nature and Jabu-jabu Pond, where parents and children can spend the whole day together. The barbecue square where you can enjoy without bringing anything is also popular.

GALAXCITY (getting off at Galaxcity) is an experience-based complex facility for children where you can learn while playing. It has a 7.5 meter high climbing wall, one of the largest net playsets in Japan, the largest planetarium in the Tokyo 23rd ward and workshops to tickle children's intellectual curiosity are held every day. On Wednesday evenings, a planetarium program for adults is shown which is a spot that parents and children can enjoy.

ADACHI CITY MUSEUM (get off at Adachi Kyodo Hakubutsukan) is a museum the history of Adachi City in a compact summarized. There is an old-fashioned play experience spot in the museum, where you can enjoy playing with children such as kendama and ohajiki marbles. The adjacent Higashifuchie-Teien Garden is known as a garden with a sense of nature that makes use of the broad-leaved forest surrounding the pond.
