The Fujikyu Railway, which runs up an altitude difference of 500 meters from Otsuki Station to Kawaguchiko Station, the gateway to sightseeing in the Fuji Five Lakes, operates 26.6 kilometers in total length as the "railway closest to Mt. Fuji."

The Fuji Five Lakes area, which is dotted with many sightseeing spots such as the World Heritage Site "Mt. Fuji", hot springs, museums, experience spots and amusement parks, is a popular tourist destination that many tourists and climbers visit every year.

Arakurayama Sengen Park in Fujiyoshida City (get off at Shimoyoshida Station), which has been selected as one of the "Top 100 spots for viewing Mt. Fuji in the Kanto region", is a memorial tower located halfway up Mt. Arakurayama in Fujiyoshida City. The view of Mt. From the top of the mountain, you can see a large panorama of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji.

Yamanashi is famous as a fruit kingdom, but when it comes to local cuisine, you can't miss "Yoshida Udon Noodles" and "Hoto Noodles". The Yoshida Udon Noodles are characterized by a soup that blends soy sauce and miso and the most distinctive feature is the chewy and chewy noodles.
